Descomposición de óxido nitroso sobre las perovskitas de La-Fe-Co en presencia de O2 y H2O

Resumen

La descomposición de N2O (de-N2O) es la ruta simple y económica para reducir las emisiones de este gas de efecto invernadero en procesos industriales. En este trabajo catalizadores LaCoO3, LaFe0,5Co0,5O3 y LaFeO3 fueron preparados, caracterizados por DRX, MEV/EDS y RTP-H2 y evaluados en la de-N2O en presencia de O2 y H2O. Los resultados mostraron la formación de estructuras perovskita con simetría ortorrómbica y romboédrica, morfología irregular y también óxidos de cobalto y hierro. La reducción de las especies de cobalto ocurre a temperaturas entre 300-800 ºC y, solamente las especies de óxido de hierro se reducen por debajo de 600 ºC. La orden de actividad en de-N2O fue LaCoO3> LaFe0,5Co0,5O3 > LaFeO3. Los catalizadores LaFeO3 y LaFe0,5Co0,5O3 mostraron desactivación en presencia de O2 y H2O. Por otro lado, el catalizador LaCoO3 fue poco afectado con la adición de O2 y H2O y mantuvo la conversión por encima del 60%.
