Humedales construidos: Un análisis bibliométrico del tratamiento de efluentes industriales

Resumen

Este estudio presenta los resultados obtenidos de un análisis bibliométrico detallado de los humedales construidos para el tratamiento de efluentes industriales, utilizando el paquete computacional Bibliometrix. Estos sistemas están diseñados para replicar procesos naturales que involucran la acción de macrófitos, suelo y microorganismos en la purificación de aguas residuales. La investigación abarcó una revisión crítica de la literatura, destacando la efectividad de estos sistemas en varios sectores industriales, incluyendo el petróleo, las cervecerías y las curtiembres, entre otros. Se observó que países como Etiopía, Malasia y China están a la vanguardia de estas innovaciones. Este estudio no solo subrayó la creciente adopción de los humedales construidos como una alternativa sostenible a las tecnologías convencionales de tratamiento de efluentes, sino que también identificó áreas clave para futuras investigaciones y desarrollos.
